The main venue of LINC Latvia 2026 will be Jūrmala Spa Hotel. This hotel will serve as the central hub of the conference, hosting the opening and closing events, while all study tours will depart from here.

For convenience, we recommend choosing accommodation within walking distance of the main venue, Jūrmala Spa Hotel. Please note that special conference rates do not apply to alternative accommodation options.

All reservations at alternative hotels should be made directly with the hotel, as conference rates are not available.

Arrival

Jūrmala is located on the Baltic Sea coast near Riga and is well accessible by public transport, including regular train and bus connections.

Arriving by car

Parking
Jūrmala Spa Hotel offers on-site parking for guests.

In addition, free public parking is available on nearby side streets in Jūrmala (e.g. Jūras iela, Konkordijas iela, Pilsoņu iela, and other surrounding streets). Please always follow local traffic signs.

NB! Jūrmala City Entry Fee
Jūrmala requires a daily vehicle entry pass (5 EUR /day). The pass is needed only on the days the car is used and can be purchased online, via the Mobilly app, or at city entry points (also after entry on the same day).

Arriving by private bus

If you are traveling by private bus, please contact Jurmala Spa hotel for information about the parking options. There are a few bus parking lots available.

Travel to Jūrmala

Arriving by Plane

The nearest international airport is Riga International Airport (RIX), located approximately 15 km from Jūrmala.

From the airport to Jūrmala Spa Hotel you can travel by:

- Taxi
  (approx. 20–25 minutes, you can use mobile app Bolt (similar to Uber), approximate cost: 25–35 EUR (may vary by provider and time of day).
- Public transport
  (bus No. 22 to Riga city centre (approx. 30 min) , then by train Jūrmala.
  Train line: Riga-Dubulti, Riga-Sloka, Riga-Kemeri or Riga-Tukums. Arrival station is: Majori. It takes 35 min., costs of train ticket 2 EUR. The hotel is at the walking distance from the station)
  Train tickets can be purchased at the station or online via www.vivi.lv
- Private Transfer (Pre-booked)
  It is possible to order a transfer from the Jurmala Spa hotel. Please refer to the hotel privately.

Please note that we only accept food and beverages that do not have to be cooled.
Please be conscious to bring products that are suitable for presenting.

We recommend layered clothing, following the Nordic–Baltic approach (so called “Onion” style :)) – a base layer, an insulating middle layer, and an outer layer that is wind- and water-resistant.

Situated in the heart of Jūrmala, our main venue, the architecturally distinctive Jūrmala Spa Hotel offers a modern counterpoint to the historic wooden villas, classic seaside resort architecture, and pine forests that define this Baltic spa city. Its cosy yet spacious rooms provide a comfortable setting to fully enjoy all elements of the programme—from LINC dinners and the Cooperation Corner to moments of relaxation at the modern spa and the rooftop bar, featuring stunning views of the Baltic Sea.

The LINC programme will also include visits to various rural locations across the surrounding region, giving participants a broader perspective of the area beyond the Jūrmala city itself.
